GETTING STARTED WITH XIBO

STEP 1  Call us at 702.485.2133 to discuss your project and budget so we can choose the best solution for you. We will discuss your company’s special needs, and set you up on our Managed Services program.
STEP 2 Once we decide on the products that work best for you, we will order your Xibo Media Players, set up your CMS(Content Management System) and load any content you provide. Don’t have content? We can do that for you too. Check out our Design Services.
STEP 3  Sit back and relax. We will be mail your Xibo Media Players out to you, ready to plug into your screens or your distribution and ready to broadcast your content.
   

STEP 1 Choose a Windows® or Android® Xibo Media player and the quantity that is right for your deployment from our STORE.

STEP 2 Purchase a subscription to our Xibo CMS(Content Management System) Cloud Hosting Service in our STORE.
STEP 3 During Checkout, you will be prompted to name your CMS (this name will be part of the url you use to access your CMS) and enter the number of display slots (QTY of Xibos) you will need.
STEP 4 If you are adding displays to an existing CMS, you will be prompted to add the new displays to this CMS, or create a new one.
STEP 5 After you complete your CMS purchase, you will receive an email with your credentials, and instructions for linking your Xibo Media Players. Keep this email for your records.
STEP 6 Now all you have to do is wait for your Xibos to arrive. Once they arrive, attach your keyboard/mouse (wireless recommended), connect to the internet if using Cloud CMS, connect your Xibo to your display via HDMI, connect the supplied power cable to Xibo and plug into a protected power source, then power up the unit.  Launch “Xibo Options” program in Windows®, (In Android®, launch the Xibo program). You  will then be prompted to enter you CMS url and key. Click “Authorise Display”.
STEP 7 Now Log into your CMS. Go to “Displays”. Find your Display. Go to the right side of the row and click the down arrow to open the drop down menu. Select “Edit”. The Edit Display window will now appear. Go to the “Authorise Display” drop down and select “Yes”.  To confirm these displays are licensed, you will see “check marks” in the Status and License columns. Now you are ready to start setting up Layouts for your content. The steps to this are covered in the following “Programming and Scheduling” tab.

If you have your own media players and want to use our CMS Cloud Hosting Subscription, follow the next steps.

STEP 1  Download Xibo for Windows® or download the 14-day Free Trial for Xibo for Android® Devices.
STEP 2  Obtain a 14-day free trial to our Xibo Cloud Hosting Service in our STORE and add it to your cart.
STEP 3  During Checkout, you will be prompted to name your CMS (this name will be part of the url you use to access your CMS) and enter the number of display slots (QTY of Xibos) you will need.
STEP 4  If you are adding displays to an existing CMS, you will be prompted to add that new displays to this CMS, or create a new one.

STEP 6  Now you will install the Xibo Player Software on your media player. Follow these steps for Android® or Windows® installs.

The Edit Display window will now appear.
